{"id":50,"date":"2015-11-03T15:53:59","date_gmt":"2015-11-03T15:53:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cokesburyumc.church\/WorshipWatch\/?page_id=50"},"modified":"2015-11-03T15:54:30","modified_gmt":"2015-11-03T15:54:30","slug":"evacuation-checklist","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/cokesburyumc.church\/WorshipWatch\/evacuation-checklist\/","title":{"rendered":"Evacuation Checklist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Make an evacuation check list, detailing the steps necessary to close your house and get safely away.\u00a0 If you wish, use the Family Evacuation Checklist form provided.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cThings to Take\u201d section is for necessary items which are used every day and are too expensive to replicate or cannot be to be replicated in your Emergency Evacuation kit.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, a 2<sup>nd<\/sup> toothbrush is an inexpensive item that should be bought specifically to stay in your kit.\u00a0 It is not the one you use every day.\u00a0 Eyeglasses, however, are needed every day and are too expensive to duplicate and leave unused in your kit.\u00a0 Therefore, eyeglasses are on the \u201cThings to Take\u201d list. The goal of the kit is to minimize the number of things you need to find and grab before getting away.<\/p>\n<p>The goal of the Evacuation Checklist is to remind you of all the things you need to take and do.\u00a0 There are extra lines on the form that you can use to fill in your personal evacuation needs.<\/p>\n<p>Assume you have only 10 minutes to make your getaway happen.\u00a0 IMPORTANT:\u00a0 Test run the checklist drill with your household members, and then see what you forgot or missed.\u00a0 Note how long it takes, also.\u00a0 Correct all problems that arise.\u00a0 An example Checklist is shown below.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cokesburyumc.church\/WorshipWatch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/checklistsample.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-51\" src=\"http:\/\/cokesburyumc.church\/WorshipWatch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/checklistsample-220x300.gif\" alt=\"checklistsample\" width=\"220\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Make an evacuation check list, detailing the steps necessary to close your house and get safely away.\u00a0 If you wish, use the Family Evacuation Checklist form provided.
