Welcome all who worship with us! To our visitors we extend a heartfelt greeting! If you have any questions or need assistance, please see an usher.
– Please turn off or silence cell phones and other electronic devices.
– When communion is offered it is served by intinction. We welcome all to the Lord’s Table and you do not need to be a member of Cokesbury UMC or a United Methodist to participate. The only requirement is that you love Christ. At the appropriate time, the ushers will direct the procession to the altar to receive communion. If you do not wish to partake, you may remain seated. Intinction means you will be given a small portion of bread and dipping it in the juice, or taking a juice vial, before placing the bread and juice in your mouth. You may then approach the altar rail for a short prayer before returning to your seat.

– Altar Flowers – If you would like to put flowers on the altar in honor or memory of loved ones, or simply “because,” please sign up on the chart in the Narthex. Flower arrangements are $25. Payment may be placed in the offering plate, and indicate that it is for flowers.
– Children are welcome in worship! If younger children become fussy, you are welcome to use the chairs in the narthex. A small table with crayons and paper is located in the Sanctuary.
